GOOD NEWS - At long last it seems that we shall have a new restaurant opening very soon. The AGM will take place in the new restaurant so please turn up and take the opportunity of seeing the new restaurant at the same time.

Our chairman, Julian, has sold his boat and is thus no longer able to act as chairman. We are desparately short of committee members - so much so that the Association may not be able to continue as there will no be enough committee members to create a quorum!. Why not join the committee? We only have one committee meeting a year (just before the AGM) as all business is done by e-mail.

The AGM took place as planned. The minutes will be posted on this web site as soon as they are ready. In the meantime there is a lot of information about the marina just published on the Premier Marina's web site. The biggest news item is the installation of dry stack facilities for power boats up to 10 metres. The stack is being built in the boatyard area and thus will not reduce the area available for car parking.

The recently appointed Regional Manager, Andy Osman, attended the meeting as did Wendy Barker, the marina manager

Coburns on the water have just closed. The AGM will still take place in the restaurant premises.

The provision of a new restaurant will be discussed at the AGM and it is hoped that the Premier Marina area Manager will be present as it is his task to find a new restaurant. This gives us the opportunity to discuss with him the sort of restaurant that we want.

Becoming a Member All annual berth holders in the Gosport Marina are automatically members of the association (unless they object). There is no annual subscription.
